Amanda Evans
With
more than 25 years experience as a TV producer on both sides of the
Tasman, Amanda Evans has worked in everything from comedy to
documentary, children's programmes and current affairs.
As
an independent producer, she focuses her energies on developing new TV
formats and concepts for broadcast both locally, in New Zealand, and
overseas. She also acts as a consultant to other independent producers,
and on occasions, acts as a intermediary between them and the funding
bodies and broadcasters in New Zealand.
Amanda
began her career as a TV producer with the ABC in Australia beginning
in Children's Education programmes, and has an ongoing interest in
education and training production. Along with major broadcast series
for Australia, New Zealand and overseas, she has continued her
relationship with selected clients, to develop and produce corporate
videos and educational resources for children and families, workers and
health consumers.
She
combines a busy home life with two young sons, manages Pacific Screen
in New Zealand and Australia, is planting an orchard, and squeezing in
time to work on her mosaics.
